When an affair is discovered, it shatters the world of both partners. The betrayed spouse is blindsided by a pain that clouds every part of daily life. The unfaithful spouse is lost in confusion, shame, and regret. Our Healing from Affairs retreat gives both of you the tools, the guidance, and the community to move forward — together.

You Still Have So Many Questions

Even if the affair ended months ago, you may still be struggling with:

  • Why did this happen — and can it ever truly be explained?
  • Is it actually possible to rebuild trust after something like this?
  • How do we stop fighting long enough to make any real progress?
  • Why doesn’t my spouse understand what I’m going through?
  • How do I forgive when the pain is still this raw?
  • Can our marriage actually be good again — not just tolerable, but genuinely good?

These are the exact questions Brian and Anne Bercht spent years working through in their own marriage — and have since helped thousands of couples answer since founding Passionate Life Seminars in 2005.

What the Weekend Looks Like

Healing from Affairs is a 3-day intensive for couples, led by Brian and Anne Bercht alongside a team of mentoring couples who have survived infidelity in their own marriages. You will be surrounded by people who understand — not theoretically, but from lived experience.

  • A structured roadmap that moves you from crisis to clarity
  • Practical tools for rebuilding trust and communication, step by step
  • A framework for understanding why the affair happened and how to prevent recurrence
  • Guidance on restoring emotional and physical intimacy
  • Twelve weeks of follow-up support after the retreat ends

A Therapist Who Attended Writes

As a therapist-observer attending the entire Healing From Affairs retreat, I came away deeply impressed with both the quality of the program and the experience provided for participants. Anne and Brian offer couples a clear roadmap for healing after infidelity, practical tools for the journey, and guidance grounded in their own lived experience. Throughout the weekend, they modeled the kind of growth, healing, and transformation that is possible when people are willing to do the work.

The couples I observed left with renewed hope and a toolkit to help them move forward.

As a Certified Imago Therapist, I was particularly pleased to see that the program teaches healthy communication tools, including Couples Dialogue. While some couples may benefit from additional therapy and support, I found the retreat provided an excellent framework for healing and growth. I would not hesitate to recommend this workshop to couples seeking recovery after the devastation of an affair.
